The dry shelf
Packets by the hundreds for boxes and toolchests, orange indicating beads that announce their own retirement, and flower-drying crystals by the pound.
14 pieces · $8.99–$32.28 across the page · 4 colours
Silica gel is one material doing one job in a dozen containers, and the container is the choice. Sewn packets run from half-gram slips for a camera case, boxed by the 300, up through 5, 10, 20 and 50 gram sizes for toolchests and storage bins. The orange indicating beads earn their keep by changing colour as they saturate, so a jar of them never has to be guessed at, and both beads and larger packets take an oven recharge and go back to work. The gun-safe canister and the hanging closet bags are the same chemistry in furniture-sized form.
The flower-drying crystals are the line inside the line. By the 2.5, 6 or 10 pound tub, they bury a wedding bouquet and pull its moisture in days while the shape and much of the colour stay, which is why this shelf is bought as often for sentiment as for storage. Grams per cubic foot is honest arithmetic: a small packet protects a shoebox, not a closet, and the card counts say which scale a purchase is for.

The indicating beads and the larger packets are built for it: a low oven drives the moisture back out, the orange colour returns, and the cycle repeats. The tiny sewn slips are cheap enough that replacement is the sane path.
Scale to the sealed volume: a 5 or 10 gram packet holds a shoebox or ammo can, the 20 and 50 gram sizes take bins and cases, and open closets want the hanging bags, because a packet cannot dry a room.
Yes, by burial. The bloom sits in an airtight container fully covered in crystals for several days, and the 6 and 10 pound tubs exist precisely so a full wedding bouquet can go under at once.
